The proposed development is for 8 flats to the first and second floor with 3 retail units to the ground. The retail units are to be re-worked with more traditional windows and finishes in order to help harmonise the existing building into the surrounding area and also reflect the style and age of the building. This development is also located close to a number of listed buildings and is in a conservation area, so close attention to design and knowledge of the historical aspects of the scheme are key.
